Jerry A. McDonald, 76, of Mansfield went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 22, 2015. Born March 8, 1939 in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Gerald and Katherine (Miller) Skeen. Jerry graduated from Merrimont Hospital School of Nursing in Cleveland and went to work as a LPN at Newhope for 30 years. She loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Marion Avenue Grace Brethren Church and Community Bible Church where she loved to worship the Lord and was always helping out with church activities.
Surviving are her daughters, Vicki (Donald) Maxey of Mansfield and Lisa K. McDonald of Mansfield; grandchildren, Amy (Daniel) Marlow and Steven Maxey; great-grandchilren, Claire and Gracie Skoog and Bethany, Matthew, Hannah, and Luke Marlow; brother, James (Carol) Skeen of Mansfield; and several nieces.
Jerry was preceded in death by her parents.
Private family services have been held. Burial in Mansfield Cemetery will be held at a later date. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to serve the family.
