

Jim was a member of Mansfield First Assembly of God, and had worked as an appliance repair technician at several local stores, before he retired from Best Buy in 2011. He loved racing sports cars at Mid-Ohio, and he had raced his go-karts at many speedways, including Charlotte Motor Speedway as well as Daytona International Speedway. He was an avid NASCAR fan. Jim was a member of Dart Kart Speedway Club, and Lake Erie Communications, working frequently at Mid-Ohio. If it involved racing, Jim was there.
Jim is survived by his wife, Cheryl Goff; two daughters, Kemberlee (Dan) Stover of Granville, Ohio and Karen (Kurt) Inman of Groveport, Ohio; three grandchildren, Heather, Jessica, and Zachary, all of Columbus, Ohio; four great-grandchildren, Chandler, Michael, Emaleigh, and Madyson; his sisters, Deb (Tom) Cuthbertson, and Terri Goff, both of Mansfield; his special nieces and nephews, Derek (Amy) Cuthberston, Darrin (Fiancee, Amanda Kline) Cuthbertson, and Tiffany (Jeff) Smedley of Shelby; great nephews, Kevin, Kyle, and Gabriel; great nieces, Cameron, and Katie; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, and his two twin sons, Joshua and Jeremy.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 13, 2016 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill, Ontario, Ohio. A funeral service officiated by Rev. Thomas Blair will be held on Monday, March 14, 2016 at 12:00 pm at Mansfield First Assembly of God, 1000 McPherson St., Mansfield, Ohio. Additional visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on the day of the service.
