John Rose

John L. Rose, 45, of Mansfield, died Saturday, November 1, 2008 at his home. Born December 31, 1962, he was the son of Lowell and Mary Webb Rose. John loved spending time with his family and friends, and especially enjoyed camping and playing cards.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Helen Rose of Mansfield; two children, Willard Justin Rose and Crystal Lynn Rose, both of Mansfield; grandchild, Chloe Rose; sister, Kathy Dave Shelton of Mansfield brother, Eddie Elizabeth Rose of Mansfield; stepbrother, Ervin Feagin of Mansfield; former wife, Vicki Rose Scully; special friend, Jacki Burton of Mansfield; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Lowell Rose; and grandparents, Willard and Gertrude Rose Hess and Kenny and Ada Webb.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield, Ohio 44902. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home conducted by Rev. Clifford Earl Tackett. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in care of Mary Rose.
