Joseph was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean Conflict. He worked in the Insurance industry as an Auditor. Joseph sang with the Barbershop Quartet for many years and loved to travel, sail and golf but his greatest love was spending time with his family.
He is survived by his daughters, Kay (Gary) Rhoades and Sande Garzaniti; his grandchildren, Shawn (Shannon) Workman, Stacie Workman, Jeff Rhoades and David (Jamie) Rhoades; seven great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; his sister, Vivian Hauger; and his niece, Cindi (Ben) King and their three children, Ben, Brad and Scott.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 52 1/2 years, Mary Ellen (Kline) Vaughn and his brothers, Tommy and Bobby Vaughn.
There will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to Pathways Hospice.
