Judy, one of six children, was born November 15, 1939 in Ashland, Ohio to Howard and Ruth (Long) Seidner. She met Ron Plank in the 10th grade, and married her high school sweetheart in 1964. The two drove Route 66 to Las Vegas in their 1964 corvette to elope. As their family grew, they had to get rid of the corvette and invest in a family car when their daughter Kim was born in 1966. Judy was an executive secretary for Collateral Advertising in Mansfield for over 40 years. She traveled to many great places with Ron, and shared many fond memories of bus trips with the Freedom Years Program. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who was faithful to never miss any event her children or grandchildren were involved in, as her family was her life. Her biggest accomplishment in life was her children and grandchildren, and to say she was proud of them was certainly an understatement. Judy was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church for 50 years where she touched many lives through children’s ministry as a preschool Sunday School Teacher. She was a 60 plus year member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She loved euchre club and cross stitch and was very talented at both.
She is survived by the love of her life, Ron Plank; her daughters, Kim (Jim) Jordan, Jody (Keith) Russell, and Lori (Corey) Camillo; step-son, Mark (Kasey) Plank; seven grandchildren, Hallee Brown, Alyssa Guerini, Kelsi Brown, Emily Jordan, Krista Guerini, Drew Jordan, and Trey Guerini; her siblings, Janet (Charlie) Straits, Karvin Jarvis, Pat (Jerry) Hartley, Ken (Lorena) Seidner, and Larry (Nancy) Seidner; sister-in-law, Janet Stoops; and she claimed to be the favorite aunt of many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers-in-law, Larry Jarvis and David Downie; and her sister-in-law, Marlene Downie.
