Kathryn L. Jacobs, 50, of Mansfield, died Saturday, July 15, 2006, at her home. Born February 5, 1956, in Boston, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of Robert C. and Margaret Lodwick Jacobs. She was employed for the past 10 years at Rehab Services and truly enjoyed working with the children. She was a member of the Occupational Therapist Society. Kathryn enjoyed spending time with her cats.
She is survived by her mother, Peg Jacobs of Nerinx, Kentucky; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Barbara Lea Jacobs of Columbus and Kim and Mike Kelly of Lafayette, Colorado; niece and nephew, Jillian and Andrew Kelly; and stepmother, Jane Jacobs of Waltham, Massachusetts. She was preceded in death by her father.
Friends may call Thursday, July 20, from 4-6 p.m. at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services conducted by Rev. Thomas Dipko will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home with an additional hour of calling from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
