Keith Alva Kareff

Keith served twice as President of the Mansfield Board of Realtors as well as on many other committees, he liked to tell people that he sold real estate for 44 years. He had also owned a real estate company and a building company.

Keith was an avid golfer, scoring two holes in one at the previous Possum Run Golf Course, a 299 bowling and many prizes trap shooting. Keith loved to play the slots and took many trips to Las Vegas.

Keith is survived by his wife of 61 years, Marty; his children, Diana (Jody) Clay, Lewie (Kelli) Carrington, and Cheryl (Phil) Eder; grandchildren, Genevieve Retherford, Sky, Michael Lester, Nick (Marissa) Eder, Samantha Eder, Olivia (Mike) Marshall, Maggie Carrington; great grandchildren, Zayden, Finley and Bryar; and many very loved nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his children, Bryan and Kim; his siblings, Karen, Larry and Bob, Regina and Joyce and twin sister Kalina.

The family would like to thank Southern Care Hospice, Winchester Terrace, Jen and Tiffany, two of his nurses for taking care of Keith.

There will be a remembrance luncheon on March 21, 2026, from 1:00-3:00 PM at Amvets Post #26, 1100 W. 4th St. Mansfield. Please make memorial contributions in his name to STOP or the Richland County Humane Society. Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services by Wappner is honored to serve the family.
