

He was born June 14, 1983, in Mansfield, Ohio, and graduated from Ontario High School. Nathan was employed as a machinist at Gorman Rupp Co. He was a funny man with a wonderful sense of humor and made friends wherever he went. Nathan loved his wife, children and Jesus. He was an active member of Fusion Church. He formerly ran a basketball program for teens. A true sports fan, he followed the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes faithfully. Nathan enjoyed the peaceful solitude of fishing and was a member of We Fish Ohio. He also enjoyed bowling and playing softball.
Nathan is survived by his wife, Tara Cox Utt; six children, Noah Utt, Elijah Utt, Sydnee Utt; Logan Smith, Leah Smith and Lilly Gollihue; parents, Kenneth and Robin (Spreng) Utt; sister, Laura (Zachary) Roberts; many nieces and nephews; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Randall and Sue Robinson. He was preceded in death by a son, Ethan Utt; grandparents, George and Nina Spreng and Donald and Minnie Utt; step grandmother, Bonnie Utt.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Friday, February 26, 2021, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. The funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Terry Garrett officiating. The family invites everyone attending to wear either Browns or Buckeyes clothing to honor Nathan's memory.
