

LaMario Mizell Scott, 32, of Fairlawn, died Wednesday April 27, 2005 at his home after a brief illness. Born October 29, 1972 in Mansfield, he was the son of Waymon Scott and Lois M. Nevius Scott. He graduated in 1991 from Malabar High School. He participated in an African Studies Class in Rights of Passage in Cleveland. LaMario enjoyed listening to a variety of music.
He is survived by his parents, Lois M. and Waymon Scott of Mansfield; one sister, Jenera L. Scott of Fairlawn; one brother, Quinn R. Scott of Edmonds, Washington; one niece, Dejah Bo Vorsters of Coos Bay, Oregon; one nephew, Dominic Heidi Scott of Portland, Oregon; paternal grandmother, Minnie Scott of Mansfield; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins; special friends, Shawn Pointer, Brandon Daniels; and most of all his pride and joy Domino, his dog. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Sam Scott, Sr.; and maternal grandparents, Shelby and Jennie Nevius.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday May 1, 2005 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Elder Ronald Hyde officiating. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
