Leonard Hamilton

Leonard M. 'Jerry' Hamilton, 55, of Mansfield, died early Friday morning, September 22, 2006, at his home. Born April 11, 1951, in Mansfield, he was the son of Leonard A. and Genevieve Gleason Hamilton. Jerry was a member of Dean Rd. Freewill Baptist Church and enjoyed working on and racing cars. He owned and operated Jerry's Garage and was formerly employed at Ideal Electric where he was a member of the Union Board. Jerry loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Dianna Cline Hamilton; three daughters and sons-in-law, Bethann and William Kohne of Ashland, S. Dee Dee and Charles Hamilton Johnson and Beverly and Jeff Winbigler, all of Mansfield; nine grandchildren, Juliet, Jasmine, Kayla, Sierra, Tessa, Kyle, Alyxzanderia, Sarah, and Gabriella; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Judy and Junior Baldridge, Doris and Joe McGlone and Elizabeth Hamilton, all of Mansfield, and Sue and Al Dellman of Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Barbara Hamilton and special friend, Clarence Allen Cash.

Friends may call Sunday, September 24 from 4-7 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home conducted by Rev. Clifford Earl Tackett and Rev. Virgil Masters. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Dean Road Freewill Baptist Church Fellowship Hall.
