Les E. Stake, 63, of Mansfield, died October 30, 2007 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. He went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday afternoon. Born November 28, 1943, in Ashland, he was the son of Raymond and Dorothy Sprang Stake. He was formerly employed at Amerascrew and was a lifelong Mansfield area resident, singing with the original Fun Center Chordsmen. Les loved his family, always being certain to be involved in his children's lives and he incorporated his love of singing with his entire family. He never knew a stranger. Christmas was an especially joyous time of year for Les, as he enjoyed watching others open their gifts.
