

Lillian G. Miller, 93 of 250 Delaware St., Lexington Court Care Center, was called home to God on Sunday morning November 19, 2000. She was born July 12, 1907 in New York City, NY to Fred Foy and Eliza Smith Gribbin.
Mrs. Miller graduated from Midway College, Midway, KY., attended the University of Kentucky at Lexington and was a schoolteacher in Fayette County, KY for 6 years. She then took delight and joy in her occupation as a mother and homemaker.
She married Robert R. Miller, August 23, 1930 in Louisville, KY. Her husband, a retired executive of GTE Corp., preceded her in death December 26, 1987. A brother, Paul F. Gribbin also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Miller resided in West Lafayette, Indiana much of her life where she was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church, serving on the Altar Guild and active in St. Brigid's Guild. In earlier years she was choir mother for the St. John's Men and Boys Choir.
She was a Charter member of the YWCA Cosmopolitan Club, active in the American Red Cross, and former member of Lafayette 'Little Theatre', predecessor of the Civic Theatre.
After moving to Lexington, Ohio in July of 1991 she enjoyed playing bridge at the Lexington Senior Civic Center and attended Southside Christian Church.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law Robert F. and Diana Miller of Lexington; a daughter and son-in-law Sara Lou and Neil E. Lantz of Indianapolis, IN; 5 grandchildren, Robert J. Miller and Rhonda Tittle of Lexington; Amy Leineweber of Lafayette, IN; Beth Stafford of Pennville, IN; and Mike Lantz of Carmel, IN.
Mrs. Miller was also blessed with 9 great grandchildren: Kyle & Rachael Miller, Corey & Megan Tittle, Logan & Allison Leineweber, Brandon Stafford and Mackenzie & Jackson Lantz. Also surviving are a brother-in-law Allen Miller of Arlington, Texas and sister-in-law Sarah Finn of Bowling Green, Kentucky.
A memorial service will be held at St. John's Episcopal Church in Lafayette, Indiana with interment in the St. John's Memory Garden.
