Linda Singleton

Linda Marie Daugherty Singleton, of Mansfield, died unexpectedly January 2002. She was born July 10, 1967, in Mansfield, to James W. and Viola Mae Welty Daugherty. Linda graduated from Madison Comprehensive High School in 1986 and had attended Lighthouse Gospel Church. She was a good mom and enjoyed drawing, fishing and woodcarving.

She is survived by her husband, Allen Singleton; daughter, Ashley Singleton of Mansfield; son, Jeremy Singleton of Mansfield; father, James Daugherty of Mansfield; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Brian and Joy Daugherty, David Daugherty, and John and Shannon Daugherty, all of Mansfield; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Lori and Paul Hogan of Shelby and Amy Montanya of Chicago, Illinois; a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and good friends; a special friend, Lisa Knipp of Mansfield; and a sister-in-law, Debra Singleton of Mansfield. She was preceded in death by her mother, Viola Mae Daugherty.

Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Sunday, November 7 from 2-6 p.m. Memorial services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, officiated by Rev.
