Lois Wavlene Woodgerd Swartz, age 80, of Mansfield, died Saturday evening, June 9, 2007, at Oak Grove Manor Nursing Home. She was born to Austin and Matilda Howett Woodgerd on January 31, 1927 in Mansfield, living in the area most of her life.
Surviving are two sons, Jack Henry Jr. and Cathy Swartz, Frank A. and Rebecca Swartz; five grandchildren, Jason, Jack, Carrie, Jennifer, and Robin Swartz; four great grandchildren, Morgan, Taylor, Paige and Wesley Swartz and two nieces . She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jack Swartz; one sister, Goldie and two brothers, Gerald and Virgil.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday June 13, 2007 at Mansfield Cemetery at 11:00A.M. conducted by Rev. Richard Pass. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association. Wappner Funeral Directors assisted the family with arrangements.
