Louise 'Peg' Horvath, 76, of 66 N. Home Rd. died Thursday October 7, 1999 at home unexpectedly. Ms. Horvath was born September 1, 1923 in Crebs, Oklahoma residing in the Mansfield area most of her life. She retired from Swain Mortgage Co. as their bookkeeper. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends. Ms. Horvath was a member of the American Veterans Auxiliary post #26 and of Mansfield Leiderkrantz. Surviving are one brother and sister-in-law, Vern C. & Joann Long of Arizona; one niece, Cynthia J. Rush of Mansfield; one nephew, Jim Miller; two great nieces and their spouses, Melissa J. & Joseph Surber of Mansfield; and Melanie J. & Ian Davidson of Mansfield; two great-great-nieces, Kaylee J. Davidson and Taylor J. Surber of Mansfield; and several cousins including Earl Long of Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester E. & Sadie Booker Long; and one sister, Evelyn Miller. Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors one hour prior to funeral services which will be held on Tuesday October 12, 1999 at 1:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. Brian Phillips. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park.
