The daughter of John and Eileen (Milligan) Neptune, Lucy was born in Mansfield, Ohio, on April 24, 1955. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. Spending time with her family and friends brought Lucy joy in life. She enjoyed plastic canvassing in her spare time.
She is survived by her husband, Melvin Atherton; her children, Melvin (Ronda) Atherton, Jeffery Atherton, and Brian (Betheny) Atherton; ten grandchildren; and her sisters, Betty and Rose Neptune. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her son Christopher Atherton.
Private family services will be observed. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to serve the Atherton family.
