Margaret Kirkpatrick

Margaret Elizabeth Brooks Kirkpatrick, 84, of Mansfield, died early Sunday morning May 28, 2006. She was born July 7, 1921 in Arlington, Ohio to the Late Harvey and Hazel Reedey Brooks. Margaret was a life member of the First Christian Church where she taught Sunday school for many years. She enjoyed her membership in the American Legion Post 16 Auxillary, Ruth Chapter #17 of the Order of the Eastern Star, and Christian Women's Fellowship.

Surviving is her son, Mark Thomas Victoria Kirkpatrick of Brunswick, Ohio; one daughter, Joy Darleen Edward Waddell of San Antonio, Texas; seven granddaughters; one grandson; and seven great-grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband in 2003, Thomas R. Kirkpatrick; her parents; Three brothers, Delbert, Harvey, and Donald Brooks; and a sister Hildred Stults.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM, Wednesday May 31, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, conducted by Rev. Sharon Kiesel. A visitation will occur one hour prior to the funeral services. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church.
