Margaret "Elaine" Krupp, 94, of Ontario, Ohio, passed away Monday evening, June 13, 2016, at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. She was born February 24, 1922, in Mansfield, Ohio, one of six children of the late W. Orrie and Elma (Mollenkopf) Crall.
She retired as a bookkeeper at Shelby Mutual Insurance Agency. She married Charles Harper Krupp on June 27, 1947, and they shared 65 wonderful years together. Elaine was a member of Ontario United Methodist Church. She was a former member of the Child Conservation League of Shelby and Sigma Kappa Gamma Sorority. Elaine loved a good card game and was a member of an Euchre club for 61 years. She was a former member of the Sweet Adelines. Elaine was an avid sports fan and closely followed The Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Cavaliers. Above all, her family was most important to her and she adored each and every one of them.
She is survived by four children, Patricia (David) Will of Ashland, Pamela (Mark) Studer of Shelby, Charles "Chuck" (Cindy) Krupp of Glendale, AZ, and Peggy (Don) Brown of Conroe, TX; ten grandchildren, Cara (Kris-deceased) Vickery, Andy (Tonia) Studer, Tiffany (Jason) McCoy, Dorothy (Robert) Noe, Matt Brown, Craig Mazza, Brian (Anne) Studer, Charlie Krupp, Melissa (Ron) Proctor, and Michael (Christin) Will. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren, Sydney Vickery, Chase and Piper Studer, Lacey and Raegan McCoy, Madeline and Aaron Proctor, Grant, Olivia and Vivian Will, Morgan Kennel, and Weston and Ryan Noe; a sister-in-law, Helen Kurbad of Ontario; and many nieces and nephews.
Elaine is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Harper Krupp on April 14, 2013; two brothers, Bob and Lewis Crall; and three sisters, Dorothea Gluck, Jean Rupp and Helen Houston.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Sunday, June 19, 2016, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Road. The funeral service will be held Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Ontario United Methodist Church, 3540 Park Avenue West, Ontario, with Rev. Peg Welch officiating. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Ontario United Methodist Church.
