

Margaret Howard Rose, 79, of Mansfield, died Sunday morning March 13, 2005 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. Born February 5, 1926 in Garth, Floyd County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Harvey and Ollie Shepherd Howard. She was a member of the Mansfield Seventh Day Adventist Church and was a loving housewife.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Harlis Yates Rose, whom she married May 4, 1946 in Mansfield; two sons and daughter-in-law, Joe Kenneth and Betsy Rose of Butler, and Michael Lester Rose of Fredericktown; three daughters and son-in-law, Sharon Kay Ashworth of Dayton, Patricia and Ted Reynolds of Richwood, and Mary Beth Cross of Palm City, Florida; ten grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Orville and Katherine Howard of Florida, Raymond and Montana Howard of Virginia, and James and Darlene Howard of Kentucky; and five sisters and brothers-in-law, Audrey and Lou Loughran of Tennessee, Wendy Wise of North Carolina, Ida and Bill Townsend of Ohio, Della and Stan Cook of Florida, and Doris and Carl Childers of Florida; and half sister, Merle Prince of Enon. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Emily Short; grandson Jamey Nicholas; and two half brothers, Berlin and Ted Howard.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday March 15, 2005 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home conducted by Pastor Rick Szilagyi. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
