

Marvin worked with his father at Walker’s Recycling and then went on to work for Thuman Trucking driving for Mansfield Post Office for 30 years. He loved spending time with his dog Roscoe and also enjoyed time with his family. Marvin loved to cook and would dance with his wife while doing so to B.B. King. He could fix anything from cars to anything in or outside the house.
Marvin was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Leslie Kay Walker; daughter, Robyn Lynn (Brad) Wertman of California; son, Jesse (Melissa) Walker of Mansfield; step daughter, Kimberly (Chris) Madden of Bellville; step sons, Charles (Kayla) Shoemaker of Columbus and Matthew (Hailey) Shoemaker of Mansfield; grandchildren, Bryce and Chandler Wertman of California, Julius Walker, Ashton and Elizabeth Ewers of Mansfield, Quaylynn Madden of Galion, Madison and Thomas Shoemaker of Mansfield and Mary Shoemaker of Columbus; brother, Eddie (Paula) Walker of Mansfield; a niece, Melissa Walden of Mansfield; and a nephew, Eddie Walker, Jr. of Mansfield.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Justin Walker and a brother, Clint Walker.
A memorial service will be held at a later date which everyone will be notified of.
