
Mary Kozma Schwind, 54, of Lima, died Monday evening, August 15, 2005, at Lima Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. Born July 17, 1951, in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Andrew and Mary Raitch Kozma. Mary was formerly employed at Fisher Titus Memorial Hospital as a ward secretary. She was a member of Amvets Post #1 in Lima, and F.O.E. #336 in Mansfield. She enjoyed cooking, reading, listening to jazz music and keeping in touch with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Frank Schwind of Tennessee; son, Andrew Stephanie Schwind of Sandusky; two daughters, Mandy Schwind and Sarah Schwind, both of Johnson City, TN; three grandchildren, Travis and Devany Schwind of Tennessee and Skylar Schwind of Sandusky; a sister, Julia Melvin Wright of Lima; a niece, Katherine Wright of Lima; and special friend, Leslee Mortimer of Mansfield. She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Courtney Schwind.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 19 at 2:00 p.m. at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, officiated by Rev. Christopher Thomas. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1-2 p.m. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made in care of the family.
