
Patricia A. Berger, 69, of Mansfield, died unexpectedly Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at Cleveland Clinic. Born July 10, 1937 in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Fritz and Florence Longley Lundgren. She worked for over 25 years at the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. Mrs. Berger was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. She graduated in 1955 from St. Peter's Catholic School. She enjoyed playing cards and Pass the Pigs, traveling, camping, and journaling. She loved her grandchild and spending time with her family. An avid shopper, Christmas was her favorite time of year.
She is survived by her husband, Leo A. Berger of Mansfield; two sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Laurie Berger of Milan, and Paul and Deb Berger of Kennesaw, Georgia; one grandson, Matthew Stephen Berger; and a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Dorothy Wharton.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 6, 2007 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Peter's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Catholic Church.
