Patricia E. Zellner

Born in Ashland on June 25, 1923, the daughter of George G. and Gladys P. (Bone) Martin. Patricia was a resident of Ashland most of her life until she moved to an assisted living in Pickerington, Ohio, to be closer to her daughter. Patricia worked in the office at National Latex Products for 26 years.

Patricia is survived by her two daughters and a son-in-law, Patricia Keener Nunes of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Kristine (Daniel) Keener Gregor, of Pickerington, Ohio. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Jeffrey Martinelli, Berea, Ohio, Todd Martinelli, Columbus, Ohio, Christopher (Rachel) Nunes, Rock Hill, South Carolina, and Mary Nunes, Charlotte, North Carolina. Patricia also has two great grandchildren, Taytum and Callen Nunes.

Patricia is survived by three brothers, Loren Martin of Ashland, George Martin of Ashland, and Robert (Joyce) Martin of Belfair, Washington. She is also survived by one sister, Shirley Wiley of Milan, Ohio.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, George G. and Gladys P. Martin; her son, Harold Keener II; brother Dwayne Martin, husbands, Harold R. Keener and Howard G. Zellner; and son-in-law, John Nunes.

Patricia was a member of Maple Grove Church of the Brethren. She volunteered at Associated Charities--Ashland County Food Bank, American Red Cross, and Samaritan Hospital. Patricia was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary, and Thursday Night Study Club. She was also active in Women's Work at Maple Grove. Patricia was an avid reader and enjoyed playing cards with her friends, crocheting, sewing, gardening, and traveling.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ashland Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 308 Claremont Avenue, Ashland, Ohio conducted by Rev. Donald Earlenbaugh. Calling hours will be one hour prior to the memorial service.
