Paul Joseph Feeley, 80, formerly of Mansfield, Ohio died late Sunday evening, August 5, 2001 in Marietta, Ohio. He was born March 10, 1921, in Cleveland, Ohio to Philip and Clara Brennan Gahagan Feeley. Mr. Feeley was retired from the Richland County Sherriff Dept. where he was a Sergeant. He belonged to the NRA and VFW and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was retired from the U.S. Army as a Sergeant serving from 1940-1961 in the Phillipines, WWII, Greece, and Korea.
Survivors include his wife Ilene R. Jones Feeley; one son and daughter-in-law, Patrick J. and Barbara Feeley; a granddaughter, Ashley Ann Feeley; and special family friends, Chuck and Sande Ervin family. His mother, Clara Gahagan, step-father, Gerald Gahagan, and in-laws, Jack and Ann Stone preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Wednesday, August 8 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Washington County Hospice, 900 3rd St., Marietta, Ohio, 45750.
