Peter Mott

Peter P. Mott, 85, of 2754 Pulver Rd., Lucas, Ohio died at home Friday evening, September 7, 2001 after an extended illness. Mr. Mott was born June 24, 1916 in Mt. Vernon, Ohio. He was retired from Perfection Manufacturing and Bricker-Mott Manufacturing. He was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, the Mansfield Masonic Lodge, Baku Grotto, and Pleasant Hill Boat Club.

He is survived by his wife, Molly Howell Mott of Lucas; three daughters, Christine Spearman and Barbara Sharp, both of Lucas and Eva Jean Schluter of Mansfield; seven grandchildren, Joseph P. Spearman, Christine Owens, Tonya Stecher, Robert Sharp, Terry Schluter, Tracy Royse, and Chuck Schluter; several great-grandchildren; and a sister, Beverly Gee of Seattle, Washington. He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter A. & Faye Mott; a son, John Alan Mott; five brothers, Angelo, Jerome, Nicholas, Orland, and Joseph Mott; and a sister, Faye Santoro.

Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home conducted by Rev. Jessee Howell. Burial will be at Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Association.
