Phyllis was a devoted and dedicated mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She loved her family and was a friend to everyone. Phyllis gave of her time for many years as a volunteer at The Center. She loved bingo, crosswords, puzzles, crafts, fishing and was an exceptional housekeeper.
Phyllis will be missed greatly by her son, Craig Merriman of Mansfield; daughter, Laurie Brown of Upper Sandusky; grandchildren, Clairissa Mackling and Charles Brown both of Upper Sandusky; brother, David; sister, Shirley; half brothers, Ed and Harold Dean; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Charles Young; and brothers, Glenn and Bud.
No services will be observed. The Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors is honored to serve the Young family.
