Raleigh Johnson, age 78, of 673 Armstrong Ave., died December 29, 1999 unexpectedly at his home. Mr. Johnson was born December 10, 1921 in Mansfield and has been a life long resident. He was a retired Store Manager of Channel Master. Mr. Johnson was a member of V.F.W. , life member of Amvets post #26, order of the Owls Nest #1152 , member of Mansfield Liederkranz and also a veteran of the United States Navy serving during World War II. Surviving are two sisters; Miriam Leap of La Mesa, California and Betty Dotterman of San Diego, California; one uncle, William Schuster of Mansfield; three nephews, one cousin, a close friend; Harry B. Randall of Mansfield. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raleigh Johnson, Sr. and Gifty Schuster. There will be no calling hours or services held. Wappner Funeral Directors are handling arrangements.
