Richard Browning, 44, 127 1/2 Sturges Ave. died February 19, 2000 at home unexpectedly. Mr. Browning was born February 16, 1956 in Galion, Ohio residing in the Mansfield area most of his life. He was formerly employed with Babcox-Wilcox in Akron, Ohio and a member of Crossroads Community Church. Mr. Browning was a member of Ohio Brain Injury Association and a veteran of the United States Army National Guard. Surviving are one son, Richard Browning II; his mother, Dolores Scott of Mansfield; two sisters, Jeanie Cushing of Mansfield; and Marla Turnbull of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; one brother, Travis Browning of Galion, Ohio; three nephews and two nieces. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard L. Browning and one son, Christopher Browning. Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors one hour prior to funeral services which will be held on Friday at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in Lantz Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
