

Richard W. Hubbard, Jr., 45, of Mansfield died late Friday evening, August 17, 2001 at his home after a brief illness. He was born September 30, 1955, in Montgomery, West Virginia, to Richard Sr. and Laveeda Comer Hubbard. He lived most of his life in the Mansfield area and was an avid fan of outdoor sports and NASCAR racing. He attended the Diamond Hill Cathedral. Mr. Hubbard was a veteran of the United State Army.
In addition to his wife, Ronda Au Hubbard, he is survived by three daughters and one son-in-law, Lisa and Fred Kaylor, YoLonda Hubbard, and Laura Hubbard all of Mansfield; two granddaughters, Daisi Hubbard and Abigail Kaylor, both of Mansfield; three brothers, Larry Comer and Sam Hubbard, of Mansfield, and David Hubbard of North Dakota; one sister, Regena Stearns of Mansfield; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and a host of friends. His parents, Richard Sr. and Laveeda Hubbard preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Tuesday, August 21, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday at Diamond Hill Cathedral at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Rev. Mel Schroeder. Full military graveside services will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in care of the family.
