

He was a graduate of Dover High School and was retired as a road supervisor with Troy Township Trustees. Richard was a member of Sullivan Masonic Lodge #313 F. & A.M., Nova Lions Club and a Ruggles-Troy Township Volunteer Fireman. He was an overall handyman and enjoyed wood crafting and tinkering with small engines.
He is survived by his wife, Carolynn Sue (Austin) Yenni whom he married September 22, 1956; four children, Joe (Tina) Yenni, Rick Yenni, Cathy (Rick) Pummell and Jody (Dave) Radomski; seven grandchildren, Ryan Pummell, Tony Tipsword, Allen Yenni, Matthew Yenni, Christina Grimm, Justin Grimm and Cassidy Mitchell; nine great-grandchildren; three brothers, James, Robert and Ralph Yenni; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Charles and George Yenni; sister, Mary Louise; and granddaughter, Ashley Yenni.
Friends and family may visit from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, June 9, 2013 at the Ashland Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 308 Claremont Avenue followed by a funeral service at 4:00 p.m. Chaplain Chris Lewis will conduct the service. A Masonic Service presented by the Sullivan Masonic Lodge #313 F. & A.M. will follow the service. Private family burial will be at a later date in Nova Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in care of the family.
