Ricky Hancock

Ricky Lee Hancock, 33, of Mansfield, died unexpectedly early Wednesday morning, April 5, 2006. Born March 16, 1973, in Campton, Kentucky, he was the son of Richard Hancock and Alice Dulen Hancock. He was an employee of Sultex Finishing and Buffing. He enjoyed reading and attended Real Life Community Church.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Alice Hancock and Paul Ludwig of Mansfield; grandmother, Rhody Smith of Kentucky; aunts, Patty Baul, Carol Barker, Brenda Smith, Jennifer Wright, Rosetta Peters, Mary Watt, Joney Barker and Hellen Jo Hancock; uncles, Lawrance E. Hancock, Ramond Smith, Winford Dulen, Manford Dulen, Arles Dulen, Charles Dulen, John Dulen and Billy Dulen; and numerous other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Hancock and grandparents, Lawrance Edward Hancock, and Winston and Ruth Ann Dulen.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 12, 2006, at 1:30 p.m. at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, officiated by Rev. Phil Green and Rev. Bruce Morrison. Friends and family may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Windsor Cemetery.
