
Robert K. Goff, 69, of Lucas, died August 11, 2003 at MedCentral Mansfield Hospital following a brief illness. Mr. Goff was born May 25, 1934 in Denver, West Virginia residing in the Mansfield-Lucas area most of his life. He retired from General Motors and had also worked at Mansfield Tire Co. for 26 years. Mr. Goff graduated from Lucas High School in 1952. Robert was a great father and roll model. He enjoyed collecting guns, coaching little league sports, coin collecting, hunting, gardening and engine repair.
Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Louetta Blackstone Goff; three daughters and sons-in-law, Sally and Edward Skelton; and Kathy and Paul Heimberger all of Mansfield; and Karen and Robert Caudill of Lucas; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Scott Goff; Brett and Valorie Goff and Trent Goff all of Mansfield; nine grandchildren, Danyelle Caudill and her spouse, Doug Au; Cody and DeAnn Caudill, Benjamin, Nicholas, Alexander, Mackenzie and Nathaniel Goff and Jacob Heimberger; two great-grandchildren, Brittany and Christian Au; two sisters, Sharon Moffett of Florida and Lucas; and Patricia Swanger of Mansfield; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Alma Sterling Goff and six brothers & sisters.
Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Wednesday, August 13, 2003 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home conducted by Pastor Harold Nickell. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Lucas, Ohio.
