Robert Jacobs

Robert D. Jacobs, 68, of Mansfield, died at home unexpectedly, Wednesday September 3, 2003. Mr. Jacobs was born July 13, 1935 in Mansfield residing in the area all of his life. He was self-employed as a handyman and a member of the NRA. Mr. Jacobs was a veteran of the United States Army as a Military Policeman.

Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Dill Jacobs of Mansfield; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Robert and Lindsey Jacobs of Bellville; David and Oralia Jacobs of Tiro, Ohio; and Michael Jacobs of Mansfield; one daughter, Lisa Jacobs of Mansfield; nine grandchildren, David Michael and Kelly Ann Jacobs of Tiro, Ohio; Daniela Lynn Jacobs of Bellville; Justin Max Jacobs of Berlin, Germany; Alexandra McKenna Jacobs of Bellville; Annie, Katie and Andrew Jacobs all of Mansfield; and Hanna Elizabeth Meade of Bellville; one great grandson, Gary Frizzell of Tiro, Ohio; and one nephew, Todd Dill. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Blanche Jacobs; one son, Michael Jacobs and one grandson, David Robert Jacobs.

There will be no calling hours or funeral services held at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors.
