

Bob was born in Mansfield, Ohio, on October 22, 1950, to Robert and Sara (Ann) Loughridge Konstam. A proud Mansfield native, Bob’s early education included Woodland School and Johnny Appleseed Junior High. He graduated from Mercersburg Academy in 1968 and went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Management from Ashland College. In 1975, he received his law degree from Ohio Northern University.
Bob began his legal career as a partner with Sauter and Hohenberger in private practice for 6½ years, later serving as an Assistant Richland County Prosecutor for three years. His commitment to public service continued as he became Mansfield City Law Director. He was later appointed Probate Judge, and subsequently elected to serve as a judge in Domestic Court.
On July 19, 1985, Bob married the love of his life, Mary Ann (Sikola) (Stacco), in Mansfield, Ohio. Together, they shared a beautiful life filled with joy, travel, and countless cherished memories. Bob was an avid golfer and longtime member of Westbrook Country Club, where he proudly achieved a hole-in-one. He also enjoyed swimming, boating on Lake Erie, and skiing at Clearfork Ski Lodge and in Aspen, Colorado. He especially looked forward to his Monday night round table and Thursday lunch guys group.
Bob and Mary Ann traveled extensively, grateful for the opportunity to explore many countries together. After his retirement he and his wife moved to the Villages in Florida part time. In every aspect of his life, Bob demonstrated a deep love for family, a passion for adventure, and a steadfast commitment to his community.
He was a devoted member of the First Congregational Church, the Westbrook Country Club, and the Huron Yacht Club. He also served as Past President of several local organizations, always striving to give back to the place he called home.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Ann; daughter, Laura (Brian) Richards of Mansfield, OH; grandchildren, Nathan Fannin and his fiancée Avery King of Columbus, OH, and Stephen Fannin (fiancé, Kayla Bash) of Mansfield, OH; sister, Tracy (Jon) Bletz and family; and brother-in-law, Julius (Zack) Sikola.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ann Konstam, and his yellow lab, Budd and chocolate lab, Woody.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 27, 2025 from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the Life Celebration Reception Center, 129 South Main Street, Mansfield, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
