
Robert Randall Mesnard, 61, of Butler died unexpectedly Saturday afternoon, August 23, 2003. Mr. Mesnard was born August 19, 1942 in Tiffin, Ohio living in the Mansfield area most of his life. He retired from the Health Science Division of Eastman Kodak after 24 years and was a substitute bus driver for Clearfork Schools. He was a member of Trimble Road Baptist Bible Church and served with Child Evangelism Fellowship in Morrow, Ashland, Richland, Crawford and Knox counties. Robert was an avid cyclist and loved teaching children and teens.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Sue DeVore Mesnard of Butler; a son and daughter-in-law, Bryan Michael & Dawn Mesnard of Wylie, Texas; two daughters, Cary Ann Mesnard of Euless, Texas and Nikki Sue Mesnard of Westerville, Ohio; two grandchildren, Carleigh and Olivia Mesnard of Wylie, Texas; a sister, Sharon Beach of Southern Ohio; mother-in-law, Mary DeVore of Galion; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys Fields Mesnard; father, Durrell Nye Mesnard; and a brother, Carson Mesnard.
Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Tuesday from 4-8:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home conducted by Rev. John A. Wiseman. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Galion. Memorial contributions may be made to Child Evangelism Fellowship or Trimble Road Baptist Bible Church.
