Ronald R. Anton, 51, of Mansfield, died Sunday, February 11, 2007, at Oak Grove Manor after an extended illness. Born April 30, 1955, in Dickinson, North Dakota, he was the son of Raymond A. and Virginia K. Simon Anton. He was employed as a concrete finisher and was formerly a member of the Sons of Italy and Fraternal Order of the Eagles. He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church and attended school at St. Peter's and Malabar.
He is survived by two sons, Jason R. Anton and Jeremy J. Anton, both of Mansfield; four grandchildren, Kelly, Austin, McKayla and Alex Anton, all of Mansfield; parents, Raymond and Virginia Anton; and two brothers, Duane A. Anton of Hartselle, Alabama and Terry J. Anton of Mansfield.
Friends may call Wednesday, February 14 from 6-8 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, conducted by St. Peter's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Memorial Park.
