Ronnie Edwards Sr.

Ronnie Edwards Sr., 62, of Ontario, passed away late Thursday, December 6, 2018, at his home. He was born January 20, 1956, in Haysi, Virginia, to the late Junior Clayton and Virginia (Honaker) Edwards.

He served in the U.S. Army Reserves. Ronnie worked at various factories over the years, mostly as a welder. A devoted father and beloved brother, he was loved dearly by his family. Ronnie enjoyed being around people and knew many people in the community. He enjoyed working on cars and fishing in his free time.

Ronnie is survived by five children, Ronnie Edwards Jr. (Bobby Arthur), Michael Nicholas (Nicole) Lybarger, Daniel Lawrence, Matt Lawrence and Elaine Lewis; seven grandchildren, Alexis and Alex Edwards, Alaina Yeater, Isabella Lybarger, Jonathon and Abigail Lawrence and Jackson Lawrence; seven siblings, Nick Edwards, Donald (Karen) Edwards, Louise (Stoney) Turner, Johnnie (Regina) Edwards, Jeff Edwards, Harold (Sarah) Edwards and Becky (Glenn) Browning; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Clayton Edwards Jr. and Tom Edwards.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Friday, December 14, 2018, at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd. Memorial contributions may be made in care of the family.
