Ruby Craig

Ruby F. Yarger Craig, 89 of Crystal Care Center died February 14, 2000 at MedCentral Mansfield following a brief illness.  Mrs. Craig was born January 12, 1911 in Butler, Ohio residing in the Mansfield area all of her life.  She retired from Sears and was a 1928 graduate of Mansfield Senior High School.  Mrs. Craig was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church where she was a member of Loyal Seniors Sunday School Class.  She was also a member of the Order of Amaranth Royal Court #42 and Ruth Chapter #17 Order of Eastern Star.  Surviving are two daughters and one son-in-law, Louellyn and Cornelius Robinson of Stow, Ohio; and Cynthia S. Wilcox of Mansfield; one son and daughter-in-law, Randall and Sherry Craig of Greenville, North Carolina; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four sisters, Adeline Stockwell and Marjorie Stockwell both of Mansfield; Elizabeth Matthes of Shelby, Ohio; and Joyce Bletz of Butler, Ohio.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Edis and Goldie Newcomer Yarger; her husband, John 'Jack' Craig; one brother, Samuel Yarger and one sister, Dorothy Yarger. Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on Thursday from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m.  Funeral services will be held on Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home conducted by the Rev. David Gilbert.  Burial will be in Windsor Park Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Main Street United Methodist Church.
