Ruth DiMarzio

Ruth E. DiMarzio, age 74, of Wedgewood Estates, 600 South Trimble Road, died Saturday evening at MedCentral-Mansfield following a brief illness. Mrs. DiMarzio was born October 15, 1925 in Bellville, Ohio and has been an area resident. Mrs. DiMarzio was a member of The First Alliance Church and has spent her life as a homemaker and also worked out of her home as a rug weaver. She was active with the Mansfield Evening Lions Club; Lamplighter Council for the Blind and was a alumnae of Pilot Dog for the blind.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews including Sue and George Levengood of Fredericktown, Ohio; she was preceded in death by her parents, Marvel and Jeanette Greer Snavely, her first husband, Homer Brust in 1963 her second husband Albert, one daughter Linda DiMarzio in 1992 and three brothers, Harold, Glen and Richard Snavely.

Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors on one hour prior to funeral services, which will be held Wednesday December 8, 1999 at 2:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. Charles Holmes. Burial will be in Mansfield Cemetery. If desired memorial may be made to Pilot Dogs of Columbus, 625 W. Town Street, Columbus, Ohio  43215.
