Ruth A. Howard, 83 of Mansfield, died early Sunday morning, October 23, 2005, at her residence following a brief illness. Ruth was born April 13, 1922 in South Shore, Kentucky to the Late Ezykel and Egypsi Smith Cremeans.
Surviving is a daughter and son-in-law, Sandra L. Yates-Muhr and Dan Muhr of Mansfield; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Ellis A. and Carolyn Bryant and Wayne 'Rowdy' Bryant all of Portsmouth, Ohio; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren; ten great-great grandchildren; a sister, Dorsie Cooper of South Portsmouth, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews. A husband, Daniel B. Howard; her parents; and six brothers and four sisters all preceded Ruth in death.
There will be no services at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors. At the family's request, burial will occur at the Colliers Memorial Gardens in South Portsmouth, Kentucky.
