Sherry loved animals, especially sharks. She enjoyed gardening, traveling and staying at Air BnB’s. She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Sherry enjoyed helping neighbors and people in her community of Hayesville, Ohio. She courageously battled Lupus for over 20 years.
Sherry is survived by her wife of nine years, Becca Burford; her mother, Cheryl Burford; one sister; six nieces and nephews; three dogs; and two cats. She was preceded in death by her father, Lester Burford, and her sister, Jolene Burford.
At this time there will be no services. Memorial donations may be made to the Lupus Foundation and Ashland Animal Shelter.
