

Shirley Irene Gearheart, 83, of Mansfield, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Good Shepherd Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Ashland. Born November 8, 1937 in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Harley J. and Katharine Irene (Warga) Raudabaugh.
Shirley was a 1956 graduate of Mansfield Senior High School. A homemaker, she also cleaned for Wayne Savings and Loan in Ashland. She was a member of Apostolic Faith Assembly Church. She had previously taught Sunday School. Shirley loved being a homemaker as she loved cooking - making wedding cakes and pies for the church, cleaning, crafts - especially macramé and afghans and caring for her family. She also enjoyed gardening - both vegetable and flower. Shirley played the accordion and enjoyed singing with her husband at Nursing Homes. Shirley and Chester even made their own music CD.
She is survived by her husband, Chester Ivan Gearheart whom she married December 7, 1957; her children, Kerry (Priscilla) Gearheart and Angela (Jason) Sinclair; her daughter-in-law, Sharon Gearheart; her grandchildren, Jeremy Gearheart, Andy Sparks, Ryan Reeves, Heather Barber, Taylor Sinclair, Destiny Workman, Missy Gearheart Potter, Michael Gearheart and Sarah Wonbold; her great grandchildren, Braidon Sturgill, William Jesse Drugan, Cooper and Matteo Cain, Noah, Levi and Bentley Williams, Kylie Sue Gearheart, Naomi Gearheart, Levi Kibbler, Eric "Bink" Sparks, Tyler Farley, Josiah Potter, Teyton Potter, Mason Gearheart, Maddox Gearheart, MaKenna Gearheart, Trey Wombold and Tyler Wombold; her brother, Harley "Butch" (Barb) Raudabaugh; numerous nieces and nephews; and her best friend, Sandy Garrison.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Randy Ivan Gearheart; her sister, Carol Lamb; and her brother, Bob Raudabaugh.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 30, 2020 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 South Diamond Street, Mansfield conducted by Pastor Robert O'Brian. Burial will follow in Lantz Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
