

Shirley D. Gough, 83, of Mansfield, died Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Lexington Court Care. Born May 6, 1931 in Mansfield, she was the daughter of Kenneth O. and Ethal (Prichard) Banks. A generous lady, Shirley enjoyed going to craft shows and loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Paul L. Gough of Mansfield; sons, Tim (Randy) Gough and Doug Gough, both of Mansfield; daughter, Paula Kunkle of Bellville; grandchildren, Mindy (Jason) Kemp, Kassie (Nick) Jacobus, Chance Gough, Chase Gough, Angella (Chris) Foster, Abby Kunkle, Becky Kunkle, and Donnie Kunkle; seven great grandchildren; brothers, Larry (JoAnn) Banks and James (Patty) Banks, both of Mansfield; sisters, Sina Davis of Mansfield and Peg (Lowell) Volz of Lexington; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her step mother, Creda James Banks.
Friends may call Monday, January 12, 2015 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Diamond St. Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home conducted by Pastor T.J. Waters. Burial will follow in Little Washington Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Madison Township Rescue Squad or a charity of the donor's choice.
