
Steven Stone, 34, of Mansfield, died early Thursday morning, December 25, 2003, at home after an extended illness. He was born July 2, 1969, in Mansfield to Clyde and Toni Jane Seals Stone and was an area resident all his life. Steve was an accomplished songwriter, singer and guitar player and was one of the original members of the band, Rolling HAMS. An awesome person, he was a talented musician with a heart of gold. Steve was a fan of the Cincinnati Reds and played Little League Baseball.
He is survived by his parents, Toni and Clyde Stone; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Diana and Clinton Johnson of Mansfield and Amy and David Santillan; two brothers and a sister-in-law, George and Christy Stone and John Stone; special friend, Pam Sellards; nieces and nephews, Adam Johnson, Rachel Sciaretta, Misty Poth, Tamara Sweeney, Jude Santillan and Jakob Santillan; special cousins, Dave Walker, Dan Walker, and Darren Martin; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James Nelson and Lula Seals, George and Lou Stone; aunt, Zeda Seals; uncle, W.J. Stone; cousin, Jamey Seals; and niece, Kelly Jo Stone.
Friends may call at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, Sunday, December 28, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The family will receive friends at 199 N. Main Street on Monday at 4:00 p.m.
