Sue Workman

Sue Workman, 79, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, October 30, 2017 after battling a long illness. She spent her final days at her home in Ontario, Ohio with her loving family around her. Born in Hitchins, KY, she is predeceased by her parents, Claude and Herma Damron of Mansfield, Ohio.

Sue worked outside the home until very late in life. She was an avid walker, volunteer for the Ontario Upward Basketball ministry, and loved spending time with her family - especially her two granddaughters. Sue attended several churches in Mansfield throughout her life, including: First Christian Church, Ontario Christian Fellowship, and recently Crossroads Community Church.

Sue is survived by her husband, William Workman; daughter, Stacey (Kurt) Strickler; granddaughters, Nicole (Isaac) Bucher; and Clare Strickler; brother, Roy Damron; and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours for Sue will be held at the Ontario Home Wappner Funeral DIrectors, 100 S. Lexington Springmill Road on November 2, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. A funeral will be held on November 3, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Sue will be buried at Mansfield Memorial Park. Rev. Larry Collins will officiate the service.
