

William Napier, 101, of Mansfield, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Crystal Care Center in Mansfield. Born January 20, 1919 in Wayne County, West Virginia, he was the son of William Napier, Sr. and Mary (Lemaster) Napier.
Bill was a member of the Brookwood Way Church of Christ and retired from Mansfield Tire and Rubber following 25 years of service. Also, along with his 11 brothers and sisters, he worked on his families 200 acre farm. Growing up, they plowed and raised their own vegetables and meats. Bill enjoyed gardening, mowing and working outside in his yard. He also enjoyed fishing, horseback riding and hunting.
He is survived by his children, William (Diane) Napier of Mansfield, Betty (Sam) Zivkov and Carolyn Dawson both of White Bluff, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Christopher (Summer) Napier, Michael (Sara) Napier, Michelle (Chris) Ashbaugh, Jackie Harsh, Kevin (Tammy) Harsh, Kimberly Karnes and Rodney (Nikki) Shepherd; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Pearl (Curnutte) Napier; and his five brothers and five sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 31, 2020 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 South Lexington-Springmill Road, Ontario. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Memorial Park. Friends may call one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., at the funeral home on Thursday.
