

Edward was widowed after the passing of his beloved wife, Hortencia Ponce, on August 15, 2023. They were married for 71 years, having wed on December 13, 1952.
Edward proudly served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years and spent 20 years in the Naval Reserve.
Edward is survived by his children, Sandra (Bob) Zerzanek, Arlene Claudio and Monica (Glynn) Cluck; 7 grandchildren, Shane (Shanya), Stephanie (Marc), Ryan (Heather), Jessica (Harry), Kimberly, Brandron (fiance Erica) and Camryn; 16 great-grandchildren, Kayla, Tristan, Asia, Alex, CJ (Maddy), Noah, Lincoln, Trinity, Haven, Aiden, Zack, Christopher, Osiris, Serenity, Jaxon and Tre; 1 great great-granddaughter, Lilith; and siblings, Arturo (Gloria), Nena and Yolanda.
Edward will be remembered for his strength, dedication and deep love for his family. His legacy of service, commitment and kindness will live on through all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held at Marana Mortuary & Cemetery, 12146 W. Barnett Road, Marana, AZ 85653, US, on April 25, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 am.
A Funeral Service will also be held at Arizona Veterans' Memorial Cemetery at Marana, 15950 N Luckett Rd, Marana, AZ 85653, US, on June 9, 2026, from 10:00 am to 10:30 am.
He will be laid to rest at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Marana, 16950 N Luckett Rd, Marana, AZ on June 9, 2026 at 10:00 am.
