

Ralph Flores Sr., a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and proud lifelong resident of Marana, Arizona, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2026, in Tucson, Arizona. Born on October 28, 1940, in Mexico, Ralph lived a life marked by devotion to his family, faith, and community.
Ralph was drafted into the United States Army and served his country honorably during the Vietnam War. With courage and determination, he volunteered to become a paratrooper and proudly embraced the motto "Airborne." His military service was a source of great pride throughout his life.
A man deeply rooted in his faith, Ralph was a devout Catholic who worshiped at St. Christopher's Parish for many years before attending Santa Cruz Parish. In his later years, he returned to St. Christopher's Parish, where he found comfort and spiritual fulfillment.
Ralph was also a proud alumnus of Marana High School and cherished his identity as a Marana Tiger. He remained connected to the community he loved so dearly throughout his life. Above all else, Ralph treasured his role as "Tata" to his grandchildren. He took immense pride in Thomas and Megan and found joy in their accomplishments and presence.
Ralph is survived by his loving wife Janie; daughter Martha (Tracy); sons Ralph Jr. and Ricardo; sister Sally; and grandchildren Thomas and Megan. His legacy of love and dedication will live on in their hearts forever.
May Ralph’s memory bring comfort to those who knew him and inspire others to live with the same strength of character and devotion that defined his remarkable life. A Rosary will be held on June 26, 2026, from 09:30 AM to 10:00 AM at St. Christopher Catholic Parish, 12101 W. Moore Road. His Funeral Service will follow at 10:00 AM. In honor of him, please wear blue. His Burial will be held from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Marana Veterans' Memorial Cemetery 15950 N. Luckett Road. A Memorial Gathering will be held from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Marana Mortuary & Cemetery, 12146 W. Barnett Road
