

Richard (Rich) A Kessler passed away peacefully on April 19, 2026, with family at his bedside. Rich was the eldest of seven children, born on February 16, 1933, to the late Alfred and Florence Kessler of Trout Run, PA. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, having served as a submarine diesel mechanic during the Korean War. After the Navy, he worked in several jobs, eventually becoming a rural mail carrier with the United States Postal Service in central Pennsylvania until his retirement in 1988. At that time, he became the primary caregiver for his mother, and relocated to Tucson, Arizona.
He is survived by his wife Bebie, a sister Patrica (Raymond) Ricci of Texas, a brother Ronald (Thelma) of California, a daughter Michele (Steven) Trumpinski of Arizona, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild, as well as multiple extended family members. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially his grandchildren, and watching old movies on television.
Rich was a member of several fraternal organizations, serving in numerous elected positions over the years.
A celebration of life will be held May 18, 2026, with interment in the Arizona Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery May 19, 2026, in a private ceremony.
