Barbara Steele

Funeral services for Barbara Steele, 85, of Spicewood, Texas will be 1pm on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Home Church in Johnson City. Burial will follow at Middleton Ranch Cemetery. Barbara passed away on January 31, 2014 in Lakeway.

Barbara was born to the late Maurice E. and Willie Elma Young Middleton on December 22, 1928 in Spicewood, Texas.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Vernon Allen Steele; daughter, Marsalyn Eppler.

Survivors include her son, Randy (Karen) Steele of Spicewood, TX; son, Rob (Kathy) Steele of Caldwell County, TX; son, Paul (Sue) Steele of Royce City, TX; son, Greg (LaKay) Steele of Johnson City, TX; daughter, Mary Ann (Randy) Mayville of Spicewood, TX; son, Tim (Jeanette) Steele of Spicewood, TX; son, Kelly (Nikki) Steele of Marble Falls, TX; son, Mike (Maria) Steele of Dripping Springs, TX; son, Bart (Desiree) Steele of Austin, TX; son, Sam (Tanya) Steele of Horeshoe Bay, TX; son in law, Henry Eppler of Moore, OK; 33 grandchildren; 55 great grandchildren; numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Marble Falls United Pentecostal Church, P.O. Box 705, Marble Falls, TX 78654.

The Steele family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Monday, February 3, 2014 at Home Church in Johnson City from 6-8pm.
